NOTICE ON STAKEHOLDERS' MEETING

In a memo sent out on Tuesday, 13th of October, 2026 by the Executive Council, stakeholders of the Faculty were informed of a meeting scheduled for Friday, 16th of October, 2026 by 3pm at the Faculty's Small Lecture Theater (SLT). 

The meeting is being called to deliberate on matters concerning the Faculty; Students' Union Election and Endorsement in particular and Any Other Business (AOB). 

The presence of all FATSSSA Executives, Organ Heads, Principal Officers of the House, Departmental Presidents and their Executives, Departmental Speakers, Class Representatives, and Erstwhile Leaders of the Faculty who are present in school have been beckoned on to discuss and deliberate FATSSSA’s stance in the forthcoming Students' Union Election.

FATSSSA'S PRESIDENT IMPEACHED, FOUR OTHER EXECUTIVE MEMBERS SUSPENDED

    Peace Nkenta As at 2:25p.m on Friday, the 15th of May 2026, Peter Adegoke, President of the Faculty of The Social Sciences was impeached with a total of 14 out of 16 votes which represented more than two-thirds of the House and four other members of the executive council (which included the Vice President, the Social Director, the Sports Director and the Financial Secretary) were suspended for two weeks with a total of 9 out of 16 votes during the ordinary sitting held at the Small Lecture Theater (SLT).  This development stemmed from the several altercations between the FHR and the Executive Council.
