Its not always you stumble on stars. This week Fatsssa Press had the opportunity of speaking with one of Unibadans fastest rising music star, Vikky Simon. In this interview, he talks about music, his latest track, Ride in My Lambo and about his career goals. Enjoy the conversation. Tell us a bit about yourself. My name is Victor Simon Murana, a student of the faculty of the social sciences, department of geography, 300l. I am from a family of 5, my parents, I and 2 younger siblings. How did you go into music and why? I have had a great passion for music since childhood. My dad likes music a lot so he plays different records all the time. I got accustomed to music by listening to the records my dad played back then. But then I really didn't think about becoming an artiste. FATSSSA GENERAL SECRETARY, EKUNDAYO ARIJE JOHN SUSPENDED BY FHR

Suspended General Secretary, Arije John Ekundayo Olapanran Onala The General Secretary of the Faculty of the Social Sciences Students Association, FATSSSA, Mr Ekundajo Arije John has been suspended by the FHR for conducting himself in an unruly manner during the last sitting of the FHR on Saturday 13th May. Mr Ekundayo got into an altercation with the FHR members when he forcefully took his phone(which had been seized by the Chief Whip) from the Chief Whip's desk as he left angrily. When confronted by the Speaker, he claimed decisions of the house were not binding on him and that the House had no right to even fine him for not dressing properly in the first place. The motion for his indefinite suspension was moved by Hon. Sherif Ayoade 400L Political Science and was seconded by Hon. Wale Adenuga the clerk of the House. THE DUO OF THE PRESIDENT OF FATSSSA, OGELEKEME JONES SHOLA AND FINANCIAL SECRETARY, ADEFOWOPE ABIODUN TO RETURN NOTHING LESS THAN N100, 000 WITHDRAWN AND SPENT WITHOUT APPROVAL OR FACE SANCTIONS

*.* Gift Uzor Current President of the Faculty of the Social Sciences Students’ Association (FATSSSA) University of Ibadan, Mr Jones Shola Ogelekeme together with the Financial Secretary of the same students’ association, Abiodun Adefowope have been directed by the legislative body of the association to refund nothing less than N100, 000 which was withdrawn and spent without following due process to the association’s account in not less than two weeks or face disciplinary actions from the FHR. The duo who are both signatories to the FATSSSA account were confirmed to have withdrawn and spent over 198, 000 naira to organise the Freshers’ Welcome Party/Picnic that held last two weeks, whereas the Faculty House of Representatives had approved a total of N98,000 for the same event. This is in contravention to the provisions of the FATSSSA constitution in article 12, Section two, subsection two which states that all expenditure shall fall within the approved budget.
