Image
By Olatunbosun Islamiyah     There are courses that you don't like are important to your education, even though they may seem insignificant to you. They indeed make you uninterested and unmotivated, but keep in mind that every subject you need to take is important. Your dreaded subjects can become bearable if you are open-minded and follow the suggestions below.   Change your perspective on the course:   You probably dislike that course because of bad impressions or experiences, but you might need to come up with a more upbeat perspective on it. Search for the subjects that you like and highlight them for your pleasure. Likewise, contemplate why you need to concentrate on that subject. It is well worth the time and effort if it benefits you in the long run.   Spend time learning it:   You might find these subjects even more uninteresting and awful. In contrast, state governors, aiming to keep local governments under their control, devise every means to put them at the beck and call of their jurisdiction . Consequently, local government chairmen are now made to serve as butlers and comprador leaders, paying obeisance to their former leaders who taught them the schemes and skills to oppress and compress.   The anticipated freedom has been granted to local governments, but the questions that must arise in our hearts and demand solutions are:   Can local gover...

In that case, for one to be able to perform Jihad, he/she must be a rational person, God-fearing, and have the ability to protect humanity at large, irrespective of religion or tribe.   During the time of Prophet Muhammad, several protests took place. Protest should not be condemned if it is in peaceful forms.   At first, when people are being oppressed, the best way to make the oppressor know how one feels is through protest (peaceful protest). The Hijra Migration, when the noble prophet and his followers migrated from Mecca to Medina, was also a protest because it was against the persecution and oppression they faced in Mecca.   Another instance was when false accusations were made against Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad; some companions protested and demanded justice. This explains that through protest, justice can be achieved. ...
