DOs AND DON'Ts OF ONLINE ASSESSMENT.

What to know about online assessment. Tension builds in the minds of students as Psychology department, 300 level holds their first quiz. A day before, a trial quiz was held which was more like a training for the students in preparation for the actual quiz the following day. The date and time was set, instructions were given, questions had been set and the clock seemed to tick slowly this time around.  At the appointed time, the link to the test page dropped. It opened to display 35 OBJ questions and 20 minutes later, it was all over. In another 20 minutes, the results dropped in students respective mails. More tension as those that submitted after the set submission time could not find their scores. PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN DURING AN ONLINE TEST. (1) Keep to time : The test will hold from 4:40 - 5:00pm says more than "the duration of the test is 20 minutes". Take note. (2) Make sure you read  through the instructions : This is equally important because in trying to skip the

FEMINISM AND SUBMISSION IN MARRIAGE.

Can a feminist be submissive to her husband? Many people don't understand the meaning of feminism ..well that's because many ladies have abused the idea behind feminism. Also many people don't understand submission. They think submission is when your husband asks you to wash plates and you do so. No! That's wrong. The idea behind feminism is that women have a voice too in the society, they deserve to be pampered, cared for, and not treated like animals like men used to treat women those days. Does that mean I have said women are equal to men? No! Women can never be equal to men because the bible says the man is the head, so we can't have two heads in a house, neither can we have two drivers in a car. But because women are not equal to men doesn't mean they deserve to be treated anyhow. Instead as a driver (the head), you have to listen to your front seat passager (a woman) because she can give you good directions, tell what is ahead of you and so on. Feminism i

BE A MAN

BE A MAN Be a man! The creed of my breed The slogan of my deed The bivouac of my clan Be a man! The rhyme from every lips Even when Lost in the deeps To be a man is to smile while being broken! To gnash and rot from within So is it defined as to be a man In my gender plan To disguise is to be a man Be a man! Never reveal emotions  Not let out the things that hurts  Till all is rotten like yam in a barn  To be a man  Many embrace depression  And shun every conversation  For to speak less is to be a man  While some even tied the lives to a tree To make a quick exit from a knot  And embrace death to be free  My gender is going nut! ACADEMICS OR MONEY.

ACADEMICS OR MONEY??? For one beautiful year, the reality of an average Nigerian student was an uncertain one. Uncertain as to when school would resume, when ASUU's demands would be met, uncertain in terms of what is to come.... but here we are. The reality of an average Nigerian student in this era of virtual class has been changed from how it used to be to something different. An important factor that has changed is priority. What should be prioritized? Every student during the indefinite break had been made to face the 'life outside of school' and this has exposed a lot to the fact that without a BSc certificate, life has to go on.   Quite a number of students went into trade, business, labour jobs, cryptocurrencies, financial and stock exchange, marketing, to mention a few. Eyes have been opened to the new way of making money as opposed to our parents' traditional knowledge of go to school, earn good grades and get a job. The school system doesn't teach how to

ON LATE COMRADE YINKA ODUMAKIN; FACTS, LIFE AND RELEVANCE Covid-19 has been responsible for the plucking into the basket of death a lot of shiny stars in the country’s political space. From the President’s Chief of Staff, to the former governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi; to one of the top aspirants for the governorship post, in the Ogun state 2019 gubernatorial election, Senator Buruji Kashamu. The list is definitely longer but these are the most popular ones, whose cause of death were not disguised. On the early hours of Saturday, the 3rd of April, the news spread that another prominent tree of the nation’s political tree had been untimely cut off. Some initially unverified media reports claimed Yinka Odumakin had died of Covid-19. Later after verification, it was found that he truly contracted the virus of death, fought and overcame it, but left with badly damaged lungs with which he could not survive. There was a difference with Yinka’s death. His unlike the others’ menti
