Euros 2024: A Thrilling Journey to the Round of 16

This famous football tourney is organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and its first edition was held in 1960. The competition is held every four years and Germany won the bid over Turkey to host the 17th edition of the tournament. For the 17th edition of the competition, after the rigorous qualification process, national teams from across Europe were divided into 6 groups named through the alphabets “A” to “F”. Each group contains 4 teams, bringing the number of teams in the tournament to 24. The UEFA EURO 2024 final tournament began on Friday, 14 June, with Germany, the host country putting 5 past Scotland at the Munich Football Arena.
