 FATSSSA MALE SOCCER TEAM THRASHES VET. MEDICINE 4-0 The male football team of the Faculty of the Social Sciences have secured their second win in the ongoing interfaculty competition. They defeated their counterpart from Vet Medicine 4-0, with three goals coming in the second half while one came in the first half of the match.   Gbenga, a 200L student of the department of Psychology opened the scoring sheet in the first half, while two goals came from Michael (400L Sociology) later in the second half. With this second victory, the team now confidently advances to  the next stage of the competition, although having a third match against the Faculty of Law in the coming days. More details later

It should be recalled that in the last election, a mandate on the payment of basic dues by every student of the faculty was raised. An hitherto silent clause of the constitution was rebirthed with life, which made the dues' paying members of the faculty, the only eligible voters . On the other hand, a threat was hung on FATSSSAites as the 2018/2019 exams drew near. Those who had not paid were threatened with disqualification from writing exams. FATSSSA FHR: Honorables berates Social Director's Amapiano Picnic report, set up audit panel which quizes President and Social Director |Oyekanmi Abiodun| The FATSSSA legislative council on Friday raised concerns over the several inconsistencies and issues surrounding the report for the Amapiano Picnic event organised by the executive council on 21 August. This was as a result of the deficit expenses of at least #11,550 incurred by the executive council outside the initial approved budget of #186,900 for the event.
