JUST IN: FHR Inaugurates IFEC Members
By Glorious Olajire In an emergency sitting convened via Google Meet on November 1, 2023, the FATSSSA House of Representatives (FHR) officially inaugurated six members of the Independent FATSSSA Electoral Commission (IFEC). According to Article 10, Section (ii)g of Chapter Three (3) of the FATSSSA constitution, the IFEC is to comprise eight reputable members of Congress, with two nominees from each department, as chosen by the FHR. Miss Olajumoke Adekola, Speaker of the House, disclosed that six out of the eight nominees were present for the inauguration, conducted by Mr. Olumide Dasaolu, President of the Faculty of The Social Science Students Association (FATSSSA).
