FATSSSA EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ADDRESSES FATSSSAITES ON THE RECENT LEGISLATIVE - EXECUTIVE DISPUTE.

  Peace Nkenta The Executive Council of the Faculty of The Social Sciences Students’ Association released a memo to the general Fatsssa public addressing the recent Legislative - Executive dispute. This development occured today, Friday, 19th of June 2026.  In its address, the Executive Council extended its appreciation to Fatsssaites for their patience, understanding and commitment throughout the recent events that have tested the unity, peace and stability of the Association. It stated how an agreement of understanding has been established between both arms, where it communicated that based on this, the FHR would release an official memorandum retracting its previous declaratives on the Executive Council, of which the House did in the early hours of the day. FATSSSA EXECUTIVE MEMBERS RESTORED TO OFFICE; A RETURN TO STATUS QUO

Peace Nkenta On Friday, 19th of June 2026, the Fatsssa House of Representatives (FHR) released a memo to the general Fatsssa populace, addressing the issue of the impeachment of the President, in person of Peter Adegoke and the suspension of four other members of the Executive Council, as follows; the Vice President - Triumph Israel, the Financial Secretary - Matthew Itodo, the Social Director - Adeoye Fifehanmi and the Sports Director - Obinna Kingsley.  The House communicated that upon due consultations and internal deliberations, the decision to restore all affected members of the Executive Council was adopted therefore nullifying all previous directives, hence concluding with a preserved status quo.  It further stated that this decision was taken in the spirit of unity, reconciliation, progress and the collective interests of Fatsssaites, with the aim of allowing both arms of the Association resume on a fresh slate, working together in peace and productivity.  A call ...
