The trio of the Treasurer, Financial Secretary and Public Relations Officer of the Faculty students Association have come under the radar of the FHR for possible disciplinary action due to inactivity and negligence of duty. Particularly, the PRO could have been suspended during the last sitting if not for the fact that a quorum was not reached at the last sitting. When contacted by Pressmen, the PRO, Mr Nnaemeka said he was not given an opportunity to defend himself due to the fact that he was improperly dressed for the sitting.

The Faculty of the Social Sciences Students Association led by Emmanuel Adeyemo is set to hold her first personality lecture this Friday, 21st Oct. The budget for the event was approved by the FHR on Friday during their last sitting and the personality to be giving the lecture for the day would be the The Grand Officer Commanding, Division 2, Nigerian Army, Major Gen. Kasimu Abdulkarim. He would be speaking on the topic, “Internal Security operations in Nigeria, How far has the Military gone?”

The Ban on political campaign is set to be lifted very soon by the newly inaugurated Independent Fatsssa Electoral Commission. The IFEC which is chaired by one Miss Ruth O. Mofoluwaso of the department of Sociology was inaugurated during the last sitting of the FHR on Friday, 14th of Oct. It should be noted too that the Audit committee was inaugurated the same day, signaling a wrapping up of the current administration any time soon.
