Despite a delayed start, the event commenced with customary formalities, including the rendition of the National Anthem and anthems representing the esteemed University of Ibadan and Jaw War itself. The panel of judges, led by Chief Judge Dr. Bola Benson, was introduced to the eager audience, followed by the announcement of the Time Keeper, Afonja Adebola. Representatives from various faculties took their positions on the podium as the main event began. The engaging debates commenced with passionate exchanges on topics ranging from agriculture's role in wealth creation to the relevance of the NYSC Programme in Nigeria.
