JOHN BUKUNMI Defection is the act of abandoning a loyalty, duty or principle often involving leaving a political party, country or cause to join an opposing one, or deserting from allegiance. Defection is not a new lesson or syllabus to Politics in Nigeria and other countries in the world, as far as decamping is involve, the ruling party always have the spoilt of war and the minority bear the grunt. According to Bentham, he argued that man is place under two opposing forces, which is pleasure and pain.
