Students' Union Addresses NELFUND Payment Errors Following Beneficiary Complaints

  By Faith Ajewole The Students’ Union has launched a review into the Loan Scheme following a surge of reports regarding payment discrepancies. A number of student beneficiaries have encountered significant obstacles when attempting to settle their school fees through the scheme’s funded wallets. The primary concerns revolve around technical errors within the payment system, most experienced double deductions for Utility and Technology fees. In several instances, students reported that these erroneous charges left their wallet balances insufficient to cover their remaining bundle fees, effectively stalling their registration process.  To resolve these anomalies, the Union is currently compiling verified records of all affected individuals.
