"Can we just use the field or stadium next year?" These were the words of a clearly disgruntled spectator in the crowded Large Lecture Theatre of the faculty of the social sciences who was there just like everyone else - to witness the "jaw war" competition. Those that got seats though more fortunate than the army standing were crammed on these seats; we had no choice than to inhale oozing odors from different and variant sources. Anybody with a hand fan or its improvised equivalent were Lords of the moment as we all swarmed around them like ants attracted to sugar. Suspended Financial Secretary of Fatsssa, Adefowope Abiodun has insisted that former Treaurer of Fatsssa, Adedapo Adesiji owes Fatsssa the sum of 19, 000 and has gone ahead to provide evidence to back his claims. You would recall from a previous Fatsssa Press report that the former Treasurer had denied being in possession of the Association's money and as such was under no obligation to make any remittance. According to Abiodun, the former Treasurer, Adedapo Adesiji who's also known as Acube, had failed to remit some amount of money from dues collected on the 10th of April 2017 to the tune of #19000. He presented to a Fatsssa Press correspondent eight receipts signed off by former Treasurer which added up to #19,000 that was never remitted to the Association's account. Mr Abiodun also said that he had accosted the former Treasurer (Acube) sometimes in May when he discovered the discrepancy and that Acube had admitted to the fact that the money was with him and promised ...
