During the first few weeks as a fresher, it's no news that the majority of these freshers put a lot of energy into their academics. They dedicated their time to facing their studies. I'm actually writing based on experience. During my first few weeks in school, the only thing I and my classmates thought of was becoming a dedicated student. In fact, we went to the extent of reading old materials before our lectures even started. I'm pretty sure this was also the case for a lot of freshers in various departments. They engaged in tutorials, and study groups. Some even attended up to two different study groups, including tutorials. FATSSSA EXECUTIVES DESIGN AN EARLY SEMESTER PICNIC

by Emmanuel Ajiboye     GEOGRAPHY 300L The Executives of the Faculty of The Social Sciences Students Association has scheduled a picnic for students of the Faculty and beyond. The picnic, tagged “AMAPIANO” holds today the 21st day of August 2021, and is supposed to kick off by 2pm at the Botanical Garden, University of Ibadan. According to the President of the Association, Mr Josiah Obong Josiah, “Amapiano is meant for the students of the Faculty to relax, have fun among themselves and get entertained especially after the concerted stress of the recently concluded examinations snowballing into a new semester without any breaks in-between”. Amapiano will host not only FATSSSAites, but tickets have been extended to students of the other faculties at a fee. While FATSSSAites who have paid their dues will have automatic tickets for the event, non-FATSSSAITES will have to get their ticket for a fee of N500.  The event is slated to hold through four hours, from 2pm till ab...
