FRESHER OF THE WEEK: FAITHWIN IKEOLUWA

This week we ran into the Beautiful Faithwin, a100L student of Geography and we had an interesting conversation with her. Enjoy!


Hi. Can we meet you?


I'm Gbadamosi Faithwin Ikeoluwa of the department of Geography. I hail from Kwara state but I'm kogi based.

Describe your person in 5 words.
I'm a quiet, bñ killshy ,fun-loving ,creative and an overall happy person.

That's great. So how has been your stay in UI so far?
Honestly, it has been stressful but also quite interesting I must confess .

What's the interesting part?
Uhm... Meeting new people. Making new friends. You know, like getting to see what the 'real world' looks like.

Would you call yourself a social person?
Yes

You must have many friends then
Yeah I do

Why Geography?
Geography... Well, Geography wasn't my initial course but I'm here now and I'm making the best of it.



What was your initial course?
Economics

So you like mathematics.
To be honest ,not really ..But I was willing to put in my very best then.

Are you in a relationship?
No.

Would you date your classmate?
Uhm... Sure ,why not?

Do you have  favourite lecturer?
Yeah, I do. Dr Akinyemi.

Why this lecturer?
Well, let's just say I like her method of teaching.

Your favourite meal?
I know this may sound wierd but... I'm a fan of fufu and ewedu soup with big meats or fish... I'm not greedy o.

Can you prepare it?
Ehn? Fufu? I can't o

What if you marry a man that likes fufu?
Ah... Well, if that's the case ,we can always buy fufu.

Your happiest moment in UI?
The day I got my matriculation gown .That moment I collected it ehn, I swear I felt like flying.

Your most embarrassing moment?
Ehn...The day I tried to prank a friend by taking his wallet which was in his back pocket. It turned out I mistook someone else for him, the guy caught me red handed and that moment I felt like a thief. It was so embarrassing.

What's your view about guys in social science?
Uhm... They're okay. With the few I've been opportune to relate with so far, I Must confess we have nice guys in this faculty. Not all though.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself as a successful first class graduate serving in one of the best oil companies in Nigeria.

Any shout outs?
Shout out to my course mates, my friends in the faculty of The social sciences, in short, the whole of UI.
