It’s been 24 hours since the grand finale of the UI edition of the Bigi x Soundcity University Tour. It was all vibes on vibes, instant cash prizes and massive giveaways throughout the night.

Here’s a recap of what went down…


The event set to start by 5p.m commenced at 5:40p.m, attendees were welcomed and different competitions took place to liven the atmosphere. Afterwards, the DJ begun serving the audience hits upon hits till the Bigi Competition started with Summer introducing the judges and calling on the contestants to showcase their talents after which their performances were reviewed. While the judges were collating the results, several artists like Newmar, Dsaints, came up on stage to keep the atmosphere energetic.


At 8:12p.m, the winners of the Bigi competition were announced, Dayvin came in 3rd place with a cash prize of one hundred and fifty thousand naira, Chizzy Vick came in 2nd place with a cash prize of three hundred and fifty thousand naira and the winner who went home with the sum of five hundred thousand naira was the crowd’s favourite, Divine.



After the results were announced, performances continued where other artists like Shamma, Mockingbird, Priest, and the likes entertained the audience.


Nigeria's popular singer Qing Madi then took the stage, performing some of her hit songs - Ole, Come Slide, American Love amongst others, followed by Niniola who performed Maradona, Ginger Me (Alum) and All Eyes On Me amongst others. 


The Bigi brand, Rite Sausage and other stalls like the popcorn and grill stands were also available to entertain the audience. In all, the Bigi x Soundcity University Tour-UI Edition was fun filling.
