Sociology Emerges as the Winner of the Dean’s Cup.

The long-awaited grand finale of the Dean’s Cup in the Faculty of Social Sciences ended with a thrilling moment on 29th October,  leaving the entire crowd at the SUB field on their feet till the final whistle. The fierce battle was between two giants Political Science and Sociology. Both departments are known for their strength, strategy, and sportsmanship.

From kickoff, it was clear that neither side was ready to surrender the crown easily. The match was an intense display of skill and determination, with both teams scoring one goal each, ending regular time in a 1-1 draw. The tension increased as the game proceeded to the decisive penalty shootout.

In a breathtaking moment of glory, Sociology held their nerves and triumphed 5-4, edging out Political Science to emerge as the undisputed champions of this year’s competition. The victory sent waves of jubilation across the field, as supporters of the Sociology department erupted in chants, cheers, and celebration.
