Faculty of The Social Sciences Students Association, UI Announces The Adedeji Scholarship Program for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

On Monday, 17th of November, 2025, The Faculty of the Social Sciences Students Association (FATSSSA), University of Ibadan, announced the commencement of applications for the Adedeji Scholarship Program, a new initiative aimed at supporting students who have demonstrated outstanding results academically, and who also double to be exceptional in other fields like music, theatre arts, entrepreneurship and several more extra curricular activities.


Targeted specifically at 200-level students, the scholarship offers full tuition and accommodation support for the 2025/2026 academic session. According to the announcement, the program is designed to ease financial burdens and enable committed students to focus fully on their academic pursuits and long-term goals. One of the major requirements for students who can apply for the scholarship is a minimum of 3.0/4.0 CGPA. The Association described the scholarship as a highly beneficial opportunity for students seeking financial relief and academic stability. The statement noted, “The goal is to empower deserving students to thrive without the distraction of financial constraints".


Interested applicants are encouraged to review the full application guidelines and eligibility requirements via the official scholarship page. The application window is currently open, with a deadline set for 15th December, 2025. Students of the Faculty are urged not to miss this opportunity to advance their education with meaningful financial support.
