MUMMY WA STORMS UI FOR SCHOOL TOUR 2025

The renowned Nigerian comedian, Mummy Wa, took to the stage at the University of Ibadan's New Faculty Lecture Theatre (NFLT) on the 23rd of April 2025, as part of the "Rising Above Limitations, School Tour 2025".

The event which was organized by the GLEAMS Foundation was attended by a number of students who experienced an afternoon filled with fun.

The event was filled with various activities such as; a panel session, street and dance competition, and the distribution of gifts and cash prizes.

Mummy Wa, known for her viral comedy skits, regaled the audience with her signature humor and wit, She also imparted valuable life lessons, encouraging students to remain focused and resilient in the face of challenges. "Your background shouldn't limit your future" she emphasized telling her own story of overcoming obstacles.

The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity and included other notable guests, such as Tony Umez, Perliks, Hon. Abiodun Laurel, and Rex Moses all interacted with the students which added to their excitement.

The "Rising Above Limitations School Tour 2025" aim is to inspire and empower students across Nigeria through entertainment and education,With a blend of comedy, content creation, photography, fashion designing and many more.

The event was set to leave a lasting impact on the students of University of Ibadan.
