by Emmanuel Akinwale

A few minutes before 2 a.m. on December 5, Queens Hall experienced a fire outbreak, which was allegedly triggered by an electrical issue.

According to a report from UCJ, the president of Queen Elizabeth Hall communicated prior alerts regarding possible fire risks, advising students to unplug high-wattage electrical devices due to strange sounds from the electrical supply on December 3 at 11:34 p.m. and December 4 at 8:20 a.m.

Inquiries are in progress to determine the exact cause of the fire outbreak.
