On The Demise of Professor Onyeonoru: FSS Announces Lecture Free Hour, Lying in State Programme

Faculty of the Social Sciences in a memorandum released on 28th November, 2024 has announced a lecture free hour on 3rd December, 2024, in tribute to the late academic, Professor Onyeonoru.


Recall, that FATSSSA Press had reported in this article, that Professor Onyeonoru of the Department of Sociology, passed away on the 7th of October at Jaja Clinic. The lecture free hour is slated to take Place between 12pm - 2pm on 3rd December, to avail students the opportunity to participate in the tribute to be held in honour of the revered academic at the Faculty Car Park.


In another vein, another memorandum was released same day, announcing the lying in state programme for the late academic in Trenchard Hall on the 4th December at 8am prompt.
