Career Impact 2.0: Building Sustainable Solutions to Economic Challenges for Entrepreneurs

The second edition of Career Impact themed “Building Sustainable Solutions to Economic Challenges for Entrepreneurs” by Career fair was held on the 23rd of November at Kaaf Auditorium, Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, University of Ibadan. 

 

The event aimed to address economic challenges for entrepreneurs and to proffer solutions. 

Economic challenges such as financial incapacity, logistics constraints, inaccessibility to resources, and inflation among others. These issues were discussed and effectual solutions were proffered. 

 

Honourable speakers were invited to the podium consecutively and they enlightened the guests on the concept of entrepreneurship, the problems and also, and the path to success in entrepreneurship. 

 

The event carried on to a segment of pitching business ideas. A FATSSSAITE, Miss Adeniran Aisha, a shoemaking entrepreneur -Nifty Brandcame first out of the 5 who pitched their ideas and she was awarded the sum of 80,000 naira. 

 

Career Impact 2.0 was partnered by Career Impact Now, JCI, and Earn with Pride Limited 

Subsequently, the Entrepreneurs Programme which began around 10:30amwas drawn to a close at about 4:30pm.
