UI Protest: Delay Over Commencement of Adjourned meeting

Four hours after the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Admin, Prof Olapegba addressed student demonstrators, with a subsequent adjournment for the meeting at 2:30 pm today, it has been reported that the adjourned meeting is yet to commence.

However, student demonstrators remained unflinching as they remained stationary at the Tekena Tamuno Building, agog that the meeting would commence soon.

Our correspondent however informed us that the meeting could commence in a few moments following this report.

As of the time of this report, the reason for the delay remains yet unknown
