FATSSSA Bye-Election: Meet Mr.Olubiyi Tofunmi, aspirant for the office of the Financial Secretary.

FATSSSA Press: Good Evening, Mr.Tobi. I am Glory from FATSSSA press and i would like to ask you a few questions about your declared ambition in the forthcoming FATSSSA bye elections. Please introduce yourself. 

 

Mr.Tofunmi: Good evening Miss Glory. My name is Hon. Olubiyi Oluwatofunmiloba Increase vying for the Post of The Financial Secretary of our Great Faculty. 

 

FATSSSA Press: What would you describe as your philosophy in Life? 

 

Mr.Tofunmi: My philosophy in life revolves around kindness, continuous growth, generosity, and making a positive impact wherever I go.  

I believe in treating others with empathy and fairness, striving to learn and improve constantly, and contributing meaningfully to everything and everyone around me.i 

 

FATSSSA Press: What do you love about FATSSSA and being a FATSSSAite? 

 

Mr Tofunmi: To me, Fatsssa is not just a Faculty but a Family. I admire the dedication of each student towards the growth of the faculty, and I value the enthusiasm and camaraderie among the students. 

 

FATSSSA Press: Kindly enlighten us on the posts you've held in the past and the committees you've worked with. 

 

Mr Tofunmi: Alright,The posts I’ve held are as stated below:

FATSSSA Press: Why did you decide to run for the office of the Financial Secretary? What are your aspirations and motivation? 

 

Mr Tofunmi: I decided to run for the office of Financial Secretary because I believe in the importance of responsible financial management and transparency when it has to do with our associations’ finances.  

 

My aspiration is to ensure fiscal efficiency and accountability, and I strive to support our faculty's goals with sound financial steadfastness. 

 

My motivation stems from a deep commitment to ensuring financial integrity and fostering success.  

I am driven by the opportunity to be able to contribute positively to our faculty through effective financial leadership. 

 

FATSSSA Press: What do you have to offer the association? 

 

Mr. Tofunmi: I’m simply here to offer complete commitment to transparency, my time and my full dedication to service. 

 

FATSSSA Press: Kindly mention one of such Innovation  

 

Mr. Tofunmi: The Financial Literacy summit. 

 

FATSSSA Press: Why do you think FATSSSAites should vote you in as the financial secretary of the association? 

 

Mr. Tofunmi: FATSSSAites should vote for me because I will be dedicated to ensuring our finances are transparent, well managed, and used wisely for the benefit of our association. 

 

FATSSSA Press: How do you plan to uphold financial transparency and accountability in your office if elected? 

 

Mr. Tofunmi If elected, I will ensure financial transparency, there will be a thorough breakdown of how finances were made and I will also be accountable through regular reporting and presentation of the financial statement to the FHR and will invite the audit committee every month ending to audit the accounts. 

 

FATSSSA Press: Rate the past administration. What do you hope to correct, do better or emulate? 

 

Mr. Tofunmi:  I’ll give them a 7. 

The previous financial secretary performed well and demonstrated commendable efforts in managing the associations finances but he could have been more accountable to the house by giving a monthly report as requested by the house. 

 

FATSSSA Press: Say a word of advice to  

members of the association. 

 

Mr. Tofunmi: Dear FATSSSAITES, 

Stay engaged and informed. Your active participation and feedback are crucial for the association's growth and success. Together, we can achieve our goals and create a stronger and better FATSSSA✊🏽
