FATSSSA VP ASPIRANT Withdraws, Citing Insufficient Internal Support

In an unexpected turn of events, Tobi Obayemi, an aspirant for the Vice President position of the Faculty Association, has announced his withdrawal from the contest. Citing a lack of internal support, the aspirant expressed a heavy heart in stepping down from a role he was passionate about and dedicated to serving.

 

In a heartfelt message, the aspirant called for respect for his decision and requested all fellow aspirants and supporters to refrain from involving them in any further political activities for the foreseeable future.

 

He has expressed gratitude for the opportunity to have been considered for the role and thanked those who supported his campaign. The aspirant reaffirmed their commitment to contributing positively to the faculty in other capacities moving forward.
