The event was graced by the distinguished presence of The Fatsssa President, Dasaolu Olumide, the Vice-President, the Social Director, and several other esteemed faculty executives.
The event was scheduled to commence at 4:30 PM, although there was a slight delay due to inclement weather. Nevertheless, the event was masterfully led by Headie, the MC, and DJ Sketch, who enthralled the audience with a captivating musical backdrop.
A rich array of activities was meticulously planned for the occasion. Besides the availability of snooker, table tennis, and PlayStation, ten engaging games were organized by the faculty executives for the participating teams. The first of these games was a karaoke challenge, wherein representatives from each team, namely Team Crocs and Team Slides, vied to complete song lyrics. This contest resulted in a tie, with both teams earning ten points each.
Next on the roster was the tissue-table water challenge, wherein a single representative from each team attempted to slide a cup of water to the table's edge without causing the tissue to tear. Team Slides emerged victorious in this challenge, securing an additional ten points for their team.
Subsequently, the Squid Game took center stage, with five representatives from each team participating. Three of these representatives managed to navigate the challenges, with one from Team Crocs and two from Team Slides, granting the latter an additional ten points.
The organizers did not miss the opportunity to include the Garri Challenge in the lineup, involving five representatives from each team. Once again, Team Slides triumphed, adding another ten points to their tally.
The event also featured captivating performances by renowned artists, including Timilehin, widely known as Tim H.O, a 300-level student from the Department of Political Science. His performance left the audience dancing to the beat. Mr. Fatsssa, Stephen, popularly known as Kiddy, and other talented artists graced the stage.
The last game of the day was a spirited game of charades, where Team Slides triumphed over Team Crocs once more. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, the remaining planned games had to be postponed.
As the day transitioned into evening, the party atmosphere took over, with the DJ mixing infectious beats, and attendees enjoying the music with their partners. The festivities continued until 8:30 PM when the event was brought to a close.
