Faculty of The Social Sciences LLT is set to host “TechQuest”

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the Large Lecture Theatre in the Faculty of The Social Sciences at the University of Ibadan is set to host the University's tech community for an event called "Tech Quest."


Tech Quest is a one-day program organized by the Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) at the University of Ibadan. Its aim is to assist both newcomers and tech enthusiasts in identifying their ideal tech career path.


Bukola Olapade, the community lead for GDSC, emphasized that Tech Quest is open to everyone, regardless of their level of experience. He mentioned, "Intermediate and advanced developers are welcome." Olapade also outlined the benefits participants can expect to gain from attending Tech Quest, which include engaging sessions to explore various tech tracks from a product perspective, inspirational talks from industry experts, networking opportunities with like-minded individuals, and personalized guidance to help participants discover their tech passions, facilitated by mentors and experts within the community.


Furthermore, Olapade confirmed that there will be Item 7 available during the event, stating, "Of course, it's guaranteed." The program is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 a.m. (WAT).
