FATSSSA Executives Introduce New Cafeteria Menu with Swallow Options

By Ibukun Keyamo

The Faculty of the Social Sciences Students' Association (FATSSSA) at the University of Ibadan has taken a step to enhance the dining experience for its students.

The association's executive body, "The Paragons," has successfully collaborated with the cafeteria management to introduce various meal options.

A special announcement, "Special Release 009", has been issued by the FATSSSA executives to inform all students about the significant changes that have been made to the cafeteria's menu.

The primary enhancement to the offerings is the inclusion of traditional Nigerian swallow dishes – amala, eba, fufu, and semo.

These additions were introduced based on student feedback, allowing them to have a wider variety of meal choices. This move aims to cater to diverse culinary preferences and provide a taste of familiar home-cooked meals for the students.

These new additions to the menu promise to add variety and excitement to students' meals, making the cafeteria an even more appealing place to dine.

"They kind of conditioned us to rice only; even the bread is always minimal, but with the introduction of the new menu, FATSSSAites and hopefully non-FATSSSAites can make different choices," said Mr. Dasaolu, FATSSSA President.

Apart from the swallows, the menu still features its regular meals. Students can still enjoy options like Bread and Beans, a beloved staple, and different variations of rice – Jollof and Fried rice.

The FATSSSA executives encourage students to provide feedback about their dining experience and the new menu offerings. Any concerns or complaints about the cafeteria's services can be directed to the Assistant General Secretary, Bolu Animashaun.
