The University of Ibadan Infinix Storm X 6.0 Campus event features an outstanding performance by “Richard The Rapper”

28th of April was an eventful day in the University of Ibadan with
different events and entertaining activities that took place in different
locations on campus.
One
of such was the sporting event tagged ‘Titans '23, a South West Universities Handball competition at
SUB sport arena and the other was the Infinix storm x 6.0 campus events at SUB
car park.
These
two locations were filled with many students and onlookers. The Infinix campus
event started some minutes past three pm when some hit, highlife songs were
being played at the venue. The Infinix campus event was a program put in place
by Infinix in collaboration with GLO network on the lunching of it’s latest hot
30 series which comprises of hot 30, hot 30play and hot 30i. The event which
took place at the SUB car park featured a lot of entertaining activities such
as dance competition, singing competition, Rap competition, games, performing artists
etc.
Some
of the artists at the event were skit maker Paul the good boy also known as
‘Oshe olorunmi', Twinkle, T-praise, Ori-g, and King savage. They were there to
give light to the event. One artist that people were looking forward to seeing
was Mr. Macaroni who unfortunately could not be in attendance at the event because
of some pressing issues he had to attend to according to a source that pleaded
anonymity.
One
striking occurrence at the event is the outstanding performance of one of our own
at the faculty of the social sciences, one Akeju Richard AKA ‘Richard the rapper’ who clinched
second runner up at the rap competition. Richard is a 300level student at the
department of political science. Several gift items were won at the event by
some of those who participated at the event such as Infinix hot 30, Wifi,
coffee mixer, weight scale and lots more. The event came to a halt at many minutes
past 6pm.
