 In this series of Interviews, FATSSSA Press deemed it worthy for  her audience-FATSSSAites to have an early meet-up with the various aspirants for the Executive Offices in the Upcoming Elections.

Its basically a collection of their basic profiles, each one of them; their core motivations and their general idea about the Association's leadership.

The proper quizzing and test of manifestoes comes up on the 20th of October as from 3pm, at the SLT.

INTERVIEW WITH THE ASPIRANT FOR THE OFFICE OF THE SPORTS SECRETARY

MR BABALOLA EMMANUEL AFOLABI

“The idea that I am good enough and I have what it takes. This drives me and pushes me forward”

FATSSSA PRESS: Can I have your full name?

MR BABALOLA: Babalola Emmanuel Afolabi.

FATSSSA PRESS: Describe yourself, please.

MR BABALOLA: I love sports a lot, I am also a pencil artist and I like to speak with and meet new people.

FATSSSA PRESS: What are your beliefs and values?

MR BABALOLA: I believe if you put in the work and prepare for worst, you'll get whatever you want. Hard work pays. Don't be afraid to make an attempt.

FATSSSA PRESS: What motivates you?

MR BABALOLA: The idea that I am good enough and I have what it takes. This drives me and pushes me forward.

FATSSSA PRESS: What kind of sports do you play?

MR BABALOLA: Football, tennis, track

FATSSSA PRESS: Have you ever been inspired by any particular athlete? If so, why?

MR BABALOLA: I am motivated by Neymar Jr. We play in similar way. He is a better version of me as a football player. We play the same position in football. I'm a striker.

FATSSSA PRESS: Mr. Babalola, why are you interested in running for this post?

MR BABALOLA:  I have been a student of UI for three years and I was not satisfied with this administration and I think it can be better. I am the sports director in the department of Political Science and I'm familiar with the process.

FATSSSA PRESS: What's the one unique thing you will contribute to the office if you are announced as the winner?

MR BABALOLA: Unique does not really describe my plan. When FATSSSA's think about sports, I want them to be excited and ready to engage.

FATSSSA PRESS: What is the central theme for your manifesto?

MR BABALOLA: I want to increase participation in sports. In the next inter-faculty games, I want FATSSSA to win in more than just football. The theme for my campaign is self-actualization.
