"Lecturers have been advised to set more friendly questions to students in the coming exams, due to the nature of the semester, while some (100Level) exams will be written in CBT mode"---Dean of The Faculty
Yesterday at the Faculty Students Leaders' meeting with the management of The Faculty, the (still) new Dean of the Faculty Prof (Mrs) Katherine Chovwen said that lecturers were pleaded to set more friendly and accessible questions in the forthcoming exams.
But she immediately warned that this is not an indulgence for students not to take their studies to heart.
She stressed that lecturers have only been thus advised, not mandated. In his own remarks, the Subdean of the Faculty Dr O S Lafenwa confirmed that some 100Level courses will be written in CBT form.
The Dean also conceded to the association President's request for the Large Lecture Theatre to be opened and available for readings, but only at day time and not for overnight use.
More details later...
