EKITI HAS DECIDED; FAYEMI IS GOVERNOR-ELECT.
THE PROPHET WAS RIGHT AFTER ALL.


The talk on the streets center is now is political accolades here and  there for the governor elect of Ekiti state going by the election results of Saturday, 14th of July 2018. We would reacll the prophecy of Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele that to an extent predicted the outcome of the elections. He said "on the forthcoming elections in Ekiti and Osun state, PDP will lose in Ekiti”. This is but one of the several predictions or prophecies made about the elections. After hearing this, ears are itching to hear the prophecy for the 2019 general elections.


 COULD EFCC BE AFTER FAYOSE?


Following the Ekiti state elections and the victory of APC, EFCC is being attacked for declaring that Ayo Fayose would be arrested. The EFCC put the above post on twitter but it was taken down some hours after. You would recall that Fayose made a public statement of how he was attacked by policemen in the government house and that the inspector general of police must be held responsible should any harm befall him.
Many say he is a better actor than politician but the crimes commission want him arrested either way.

BLOODSHED IN PAKISTAN IN THE COURSE OF ELECTIONS


The tension and heat during election times is displeasing as many innocent lives are lost. Pakistan recently recorded the death of 132 people including a political contestant killed by 2 suicide bombers. Apart from the regular irregularities during the elections, such periods are known to be dangerous as lives are taken without cause. This explains why people declare individual state of emergencies, in order to preserve their precious lives.

TRUMP BEHOLDS THE QUEEN'S BEAUTY




The president of the United States of America, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania were guests to the Queen of England, Elizabeth II for about 50 minutes during her tea time at the Windsor castle. Trump who was in London on an official visit on Friday 13th July remarked that "She was amazing! Such a wonderful lady and so beautiful! " For the first time in his regime, Trump had the opportunity to spend some time with queen Elizabeth, just as his predecessor- Obama did once upon a time. It was noted to be a pleasurable moment for both parties.
Trump also met with Prime Minister, Theresa May amid protests by tens of thousands of people in London against his visit.

THE FATSSSA WEEK EVENTS THROUGH THE EYES OF A NERDY FATSSSAITE

However, there had been loud hiccups with the crispy picnic, so many might have been hesitant to show up at the FATSSSA Week events. In preparation for the opening day of the events, the Large Lecture Theatre had been decorated. A large purple banner bearing the name of the faculty, with beautiful splashes of white and orange, was glued to the wall. The week started with an incredible intellectual programme - ‘Dean For  A Day’ and ‘FATSSSAites who inspire us’. I was determined to attend the programme as it was a new trend and I was curious to see how it would turn out. My mouth went agape as I saw FATSSSAites rush to the event. BREAKING: FACULTY OF THE SOCIAL SCIENCES MOURNS LECTURER, SUSPENDS ALL ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK

  By Emmanuel Akinwale The Faculty of the Social Sciences has today, 8th October released a memorandum announcing the suspension of all academic and administrative activities within the f aculty , following the untimely passing of Professor Ifeanyi Onyeonoru , a respected lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Head of the Employment Relations and Human Resource Management Unit.   The devastating news confirmed by FATSSSA Press correspondent stated that Professor Ifeanyi Onyeonoru passed away in the early hours of October 7, 2024, at Jaja Clinic during a brief illnes. The esteemable Professor is said to have contributed significantly to the academic repository of the Faculty and most importantly, his Department with his repertoire of knowledge.
