In a notable turn of events, Mr. Ashcroft Dominion Omoniyi, the Social Director of the Faculty of The Social Sciences Students Association (FATSSSA), has diligently met the financial obligations set forth by the FATSSSA House of Representatives. This resolution emerged during the fifth legislative sitting on November 16, 2023, where Mr. Omoniyi presented a comprehensive financial report concerning the association's recent picnic.

At the core of the deliberations was a loan amounting to two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) that Mr. Ashcroft had sought during the October 6, 2023, FHR sitting. The loan was intended to fund the association's activities, with the commitment to replenish the funds through the sale of tickets for the anticipated picnic. However, during the subsequent sitting on November 16, Mr. Ashcroft reported that only 162 out of the 400 printed tickets were sold, leaving 246 unsold tickets.

This financial shortfall led to a series of motions and votes by the FATSSSA House of Representatives, and it was concluded that Mr Omoniyi must repay the entire loan of two hundred thousand Naira before the second sitting in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic session.

In a commendable display of responsibility, Mr Omoniyi has fulfilled this resolution by repaying the entire loan amount, ensuring financial integrity within FATSSSA. This positive development signifies a commitment to accountability and upholding the economic well-being of the association. The timely repayment aligns with the principles of transparency and responsibility advocated by the FATSSSA House of Representatives, showcasing a resolution to the financial matter that drew attention during the November 16 sitting.
