THE FLOP OF A DINNER: OUR ANALYSIS AND OTHER ISSUES ARISING IN FATSSSA.

“A good leader should be quick to say “I’m sorry” but a leader who says “I’m sorry” too often is as incapable as the handicapped” – Anonymous “It is better not to offer an excuse than a bad one” – George Washington Until now, the Adeyemo led administration has not been able to provide a tangible reason as to why people who sat the table for six were not catered for. In his usual fashion, he has resorted to word dribble giving no clear answers. From the last conversation the Press had with Mr President, some things were clear – some of which we already knew. Not only does he lack cohesion in his team, he’s considerably lackadaisical. How can the President of FATSSSA be totally clueless on the type security provided for the Dinner? The baseless excuse given was that it was the Social director’s responsibility to get security. Mr President please look up the word, “ oversee ” and check your constitution again. Both the President and the Social director gave conflicting re...

FATSSSA PRO, OTHERS UNDER THREAT OF SUSPENSION

The trio of the Treasurer, Financial Secretary and Public Relations Officer of the Faculty students Association have come under the radar of the FHR for possible disciplinary action due to inactivity and negligence of duty. Particularly, the PRO could have been suspended during the last sitting if not for the fact that a quorum was not reached at the last sitting. When contacted by Pressmen, the PRO, Mr Nnaemeka said he was not given an opportunity to defend himself due to the fact that he was improperly dressed for the sitting.

BAN ON POLITICAL CAMPAIGN TO BE LIFTED SOON

The Ban on political campaign is set to be lifted very soon by the newly inaugurated Independent Fatsssa Electoral Commission. The IFEC which is chaired by one Miss Ruth O. Mofoluwaso of the department of Sociology was inaugurated during the last sitting of the FHR on Friday, 14th of Oct. It should be noted too that the Audit committee was inaugurated the same day, signaling a wrapping up of the current administration any time soon.

BOUND BY STRANGE DESIRES

Image
Her waist was encircled In your arms. She laughed, mouth agape, as your fingers danced with delight, Atop her belly button. Your intrigue held her bound Like a spell. But it was you who was under a spell. You watched her undo her covering And your eyes were fed full. Yet something in you, Stronger than you, wanted more! So you plunged forward with desire. You felt her tenderness And you couldn't stop the thoughts, Nor the actions that followed. The experience was ecstatic Yet you felt empty afterwards. Adigun's description of the feeling, of the unimaginable experience All turned out to be an oversell! You pick up you clothes, Make for the door But you're drawn back by her allure Like a serpent, you glide your way Next to her unsheathed body. You'd rather feel empty One more time. Or two more, Or many more times. © GIFT UZOR (PROF GEE)

IF YOU DESIRE A SLIM, FIT LOOK, TRY THESE.

Image
It has not escaped my notice that there is an increase in the rush for fad diets. Slim/thin is the new vogue. Every lady (‘guys sef’) want to fit inside size 6. Na wa o. Anyways, while not encouraging you to starve yourselves, and just to help avoid overweight, I have decided to bring some of these ‘wonder foods’ closer to you. So if the stress of UI has not done enough to keep you slim and fit, then you can try any or all of these (Not that being robust and plump is bad anyway). Remember, moderation is best for everything we do. HOT CHILI PEPPERS They have a flavourless chemical called capsaicin, which curbs appetite and speed up metabolism slightly, but only for a short while. Because it is spicy, you are less likely to eat more food, which is the point with eating hot peppers. Yoruba chics will dig this (*winks*) GREEN TEA Several studies suggest that green tea may promote weight loss by stimulating the body to burn fat. Green tea contains catechins that may briefly affect me...
