3 POWERFUL TRICKS TO GET OUT OF BED STRONGER THAN USUAL
Do you struggle to wake up early enough? Does it, always, appear like a failed attempt or a nightmare whenever you strive to “wake up early” for a 7:00am class? Or, to study for the next class, finish a project or prepare for your upcoming presentation, write a few chapter of your upcoming book, a proposal or something much more significant before everyone else wakes up and dampen the atmosphere with noise and distractions?  Well, first, I congratulate you for stopping by on this corner of the column. It’s an headway to your solution.
Today, three powerful tricks overcome “early-morning-laziness,” jump into the day feeling energized, gingered and ready to swagger. They are main antidotes for me; Trust they will work for you. So, let’s begin:
#Trick 1: Sleep early Enough
According to experts from Mayo Clinic, our body requires a recommended 7 to 9 hours sleep for adults; 8 to 10 hours for teenagers between 14 and 17 years of age.
Ensure you have nothing less than 7 hours of sleep every night. This helps boost your brain and body energy level, reduces stress and keeps your mind, soul and body soaring high all day long.
A tip for you: set alarm for 4 or 5 am, go to bed exactly 9pm. That will keep you from snoozing the alarm and snuggling back under your blanket.
#Trick 2: Give Your brain a task before Bedtime
Our mind is like a machine, the way we program it determines how effective it will work for us. The trick is simple: don’t go to bed in the night without telling your mind what to do the following morning.
Simply put: Before going to bed every night, write down, in details, things you want to do the next day. For example, wake up 4am
Meditation 4:05-4:30
Write a proposal 4:35-5:15…
This is called a “To-Do list.” By setting one before bedtime, you have sown the information to your subconscious mind. Even before you rise from sleep, the mind is already playing out those plans that alone, produces the energy that would drive you out of bed and feeling energetic. Create your to-do list before bed time.
#Trick 3: Take a cold bath Immediately.
Though this may sound too simple or weird but believe it or not, taking a cold bath works like magic. The reason is this: when you keep drolling, and rolling your body from one side of the bed to the other, finding it hard to wake up completely is because some parts of your body, your mind, the brain nerves are yet to fully awaken. If your mind is awake, the body will wake up too.
So, if you still feel weak and stuck in bed at your alarm time, force yourself into the bathroom, pour a cup of water on your face and body. If you’re on low-cut, better advantage, pour from your head to toe. Pick up your sponge and enjoy the cold bath. This process wakens up the cells and nerves including the mind. I bet, you will return to your room swimming in strength and motivation to face the day.
OTHER TRICKS TO TRY I’ve tried these other ones severally. Though they are not always effective at some points, but might work for you. • Physical exercise: jogging, skipping, pressup, running and the likes. Exercise releases tones of endorphins and other feel-good neurotransmitters that gets the brain working perfect.
You can also: Turn on your best music; force yourself to dance to it or better still—sing or lala the lyrics. Music also reawaken the brain and energizes the body.
With these few tricks, I bet you struggle to wake as early as 4am when next you have a pressing task to meet. Thanks for reading.
