FATSSSA PRESS: How are you doing today?
Mr Balogun: I'm fine and you
FATSSSA PRESS: I'm doing well. Thank you.
Can you introduce yourself and the position you are vying for?
Mr Balogun: My name is BALOGUN SAMSON OPEYEMI aka Bharlo. I'm vying for the post of Assistant Genewant Secretary.
FATSSSA PRESS: Okay. Is that all we can know about Mr. Balogun?
Mr. Balogun: I'm an 100lvl student of department of sociology. And also an honorable member of the faculty house of representatives and a member of sultan Bello health and publicity committee.
FATSSSA PRESS: Okay.
What motivates you to pursue the role of the assistant general secretary?
Mr Balogun: My personal integrity(being an honorable member of the faculty),The active present departmental Exco and thepresent Faculty AGS activeness.
FATSSSA PRESS: Okay. Which of the department executives are you referring to?
Mr. Balogun: Sociology, Elite Team
FATSSSA PRESS: The present AGS motivates you right? Are you saying that you would follow in his footsteps if you were to become the AGS?
Mr Balogun: Yes and also improvise when necessary.
FATSSSA PRESS: Do have any relevant experience or qualifications for this role?
Mr. Balogun: The only experience is being an honorable member of the faculty.
FATSSSA PRESS: Vying for the post of AGS, what are the specific goals or visions you plan to implement if elected?
Mr Balogun: Permit me to say this, all my visions and goals are known by me and will be showcased in the manifesto night.
FATSSSA PRESS: Oh. Interesting.
You won't be sharing at the press night either?
Mr Balogun: I will
FATSSSA PRESS: Okay. Is there any specific initiative that FATSSAITES needs to look up to if you get elected?
Mr. Balogun: Yes, I will improve the sanitation process at the faculty and keep track of the students entering and leaving the secretariat. Students will not merely occupy seats at the secretariat for leisure.
FATSSSA PRESS: Are you implying that students won't have free access to the secretariat again?
Mr Balogun: They will have access to it, but they must have a tangible reason for being present.
FATSSA PRESS: Have you ever held any leadership position before?
Mr. Balogun: No, but if secondary school counts then I was the social prefect.
FATSSSA PRESS: Okay, To round up, What is the central theme of your manifesto.
Mr. Balogun: Igniting Progress
