afternoon, Miss Kẹhìndè.
My name is Bibisoluwa from FATSSSA Press and we would
like to have your profile and ask a few questions. Please introduce yourself.
Adeoye Kehinde: My name is Adeoye Kehinde Dorcas, a
300L student of the department of geography.
I am vying for the post of FATSSSA Vice President, I am also
the class rep of my class.
FATSSSA Press: Please describe yourself, your basic
beliefs and personal philosophy as well as your source of motivation.
Adeoye Kehinde: I would describe myself as an open
and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to
be fair in everything I do.
My personal belief is that I believe everyone should be
given a chance and being kind in all situations.
My philosophy of life is to live life to the fullest with
purpose.
God is my source of motivation.
FATSSSA Press: Why have you chosen to run for the post of
vice-president?
Adeoye Kehinde: I decided to run for the post of the
vice president because I've always been dedicated to service.
I want to serve the association and equipped with my
experiences, I know it's going to be possible to "serve" FATSSSAITES.
FATSSSA Press: Have you held any executive position
within the faculty or otherwise?
Adeoye Kehinde: No.
FATSSSA Press: What is the central theme for your
manifesto? What should FATSSSITES expect should you emerge as the vice
president of the next administration?
Adeoye Kehinde: The theme for my manifesto is IMPACT.
FATSSSAITES should expect a revamp in the tutorials and
academic related issues. They should also expect an empowerment program and
health programs on issues relating to students.
FATSSSA Press: You stated earlier that you have never
held an executive position at the university; do you worry that you might not
have enough experience for the job?
Adeoye Kehinde: I have no worries.
I have never held an executive position in the university,
put I've been in positions that in turn gave me experience.
I have been the assistant class rep of my class since i was
a freshman, it has boosted my relationship with students from all departments
across the faculty,I have also served in various committee in my department and
the faculty.
FATSSSA Press: Tutorials and health programmes are not
new to members of the faculty, however you intend to bring a dramatic change.
In your own words, to 'revamp' it. What positive changes should FATSSSITES
expect regarding health talks and academics.
Adeoye Kehinde: I intend to organize an empowerment
program for FATSSSAITES and also counselling sessions.
