Ahead of the finals of the SEAL Cup Competition, one of the organisers of the Competition, Samuel Adeniran interviewed players and coaches of the two finalist teams. In the separate interviews, they share their expectations ahead of the game.

Interview with the talisman of Sociology, he makes boast of his department and this is what he has to say.


Prime: Good day to you sir
Prime: Concerning the coming seal competition final. What do you have to say Ey7: History will repeat itself?
Ey7: KHE will lose in the finals again!
Prime: But do you think they will be defeated again?
Ey7: Yes sir
Prime: But according to many people, they are saying your opponents are the favorite base on their performance so far
Prime: Do you think that's true?
Ey7: Yes they are
Prime: On a final note sir, can we know your prediction about the match?
Ey7: SOC 2-1 KHE
Prime: Thanks for your time.

Interview with the Coach of Sociology, Mr. Ajose Gabriel
Prime: Good evening to you sir
Prime: I would like to congratulate you for making it to seal competition final for the second time
Gabriel: Good evening organizer....
Prime: Good evening sir
Gabriel: Thank you very much sir, it’s an honour playing in the final once more..
Prime: I commend you for that sir. Do you see your team having a better chance of winning the title this year?
Gabriel: Well, our opponent is a better side, so we are. It’s going to be an interesting encounter the legs will judge.
Prime: But news spreading is that your team is the weaker team compared to your opponent base on your performance so far. Any response to that?
Gabriel: Well, you don't judge a book by its cover. Like I said, football is mysterious. Finding a way down to this final shows the prowess of my team... We are fully ready for this final. That's all I can say as regard that.
Prime: Sir, what should the fans watch out for from your team on Saturday
Gabriel: I must say, the very best.. "It's not about what it looks like, it's what it is saying.. I'll urge them to turn out in mass to give their love to the team again..We sure know we are ready for this, and for no reason are we making them regret their actions..
Prime: On a final note sir, can we know your prediction about the match?
Gabriel: Prediction? Something extremely thrilling..Let the legs judge like I've said...
Prime: Okay sir, thank you so much for your time.
Gabriel: You're welcome sir...

Interview with KHE’S Skipper
Prime: Good day to you sir
Prime: Concerning the coming seal competition final, what do you have to say?
Pastore: Well I feel that we have a good chance of winning this year, the boys have been waiting a while for the final and I feel positive about it
Prime: But don't you think your opponents are ready to defend the title?
Pastore: Well tbh with you I don’t know but  feel  they should because they did well in the competition although they struggled a bit but I think they should give us a good fight
Prime: Finally sir, do you have any word of victory or defeat for your opponent and can I know your prediction?
Pastore: Uh I'd like to tell them we are coming with full fire power and they should get ready.
Pastore: KHE to win 2-0
Prime: Thank you so much for your time sir
Pastore: You're very welcome

Interview with KHE’S COACH


Prime: Good evening to you sir
Prime: I want to congratulate you for making it to seal competition final for the second time
Prime: Can I know what you have in stock for the final and what's your say concerning the competition so far
Pizzle: Okay... First and foremost the competition so far has been fair...it wasn't too bad for a university tournament and in life there are ups and downs and also flaws too, everything can’t be perfect but I'll commend the organizers for a job well done and also all the team that participated in this tournament for making it a memorable one...Now we in the Finals once again the hottest rivals KHE VS SOCIOLOGY...As a coach I know it won't be easy because the opposition team has some quality players in their team..But there's no cause for alarm, with the players I have they never disappoint... even during the toughest phase of the tournament my players have always played well and here are we in the finals once again...I don't want to really talk about what happened last year ‘cause in football anything can happen. But this year me and my team members are ready to lift the Trophy...we came all d way to this stage to win the Trophy...we see in the finals.
Prime: So sir, people's predictions so far are in your favour but do you think you have what it takes to prove your fans right?
Pizzle: Absolutely yes
Pizzle: People know we have quality players in my team and the spirit they are bringing this year is really high.
Prime: On a final note sir, can we know your prediction about this match?
Pizzle: 2goals to Nil in favour of my team

THE FATSSSA WEEK EVENTS THROUGH THE EYES OF A NERDY FATSSSAITE

However, there had been loud hiccups with the crispy picnic, so many might have been hesitant to show up at the FATSSSA Week events. In preparation for the opening day of the events, the Large Lecture Theatre had been decorated. A large purple banner bearing the name of the faculty, with beautiful splashes of white and orange, was glued to the wall. The week started with an incredible intellectual programme - ‘Dean For  A Day’ and ‘FATSSSAites who inspire us’. I was determined to attend the programme as it was a new trend and I was curious to see how it would turn out. My mouth went agape as I saw FATSSSAites rush to the event.
