Organisers of the Global Leadership Summit, University of Ibadan are set to partner with the Faculty of the Social Sciences Students’ Association (FATSSSA) to host a one day free Google digital skills training. The training which is aimed at helping students grow their businesses, careers and to acquire more employability skills is billed to take place on the 28th of September at the Large Lecture Theatre (LLT) of the Faculty of the Social Sciences.

Influencers of the GLSUI’19 team have confirmed that experts from Google are expected to train students on several Information Technology (IT) skills like digital marketing, search engine optimisation, content marketing and so on. The training is also expected to come with Google certification for participants at the training.

The training is believed to be part of the pre-summit activities. It would be recalled that influencers of the GLSUI’19 team early in the semester organised a walk christened walk for wellness: a stride against suicide which sought to advocate for wellness and life and to consequently end the scourge of depression on campus.

The Global Leadership Summit is a two-day world-class leadership training that exists to build next generation leaders and to transform leaders around the world with the injection of vision, inspiration and practical skills for the sake of transforming communities. The Global Leadership Summit, University of Ibadan, 2019 is scheduled to hold sometime in October and it is expected to host more than ten faculty members from across board live on video cast.
