Can we meet you?
 My name is Abiodun Odu from Ogun State, 100 level student of Sociology, I'm 17years, I'm not an outgoing person, I'm the first born and I'm a Christian.

Educational background? I attended UI crèche, started primary school at Sky World Mega School New Bodija for 5years. Later went to ISI for my first year and I transferred to Marble College and graduated from there now University of Ibadan.

Was UI your initial choice?
Yes, it was my initial choice.

Was Sociology your initial course?
No it was not my initial course, it was Law but due to cut off point with 0.6 so I’m in sociology.

Are you going to change to Law in 200l?
Right now, well I'm going to try my best but I can't kill myself in the process but just to do what I can.

Where would you like to specialize?
I don't even want to be a lawyer. I want to be an investigative journalist; even Sociology can help me with that because I've always wanted to report stories because I'm very passionate about it. I do CNN and I do admire their reporters so seeing that Journalism is something that I'd love to do.

How has the faculty been?
I like the faculty, it's cool because my Dad works here, I love the design and everything, I like the layout and the structures.

Where do you see yourself in 5years time?
Well in the next 5years I see myself doing my master's degree or if I end up in Law I'd be graduating.


What are your favourites and hobbies?
My favourite colours are black and navy blue; my favourite meal should be Amala and Abula. My hobbies are singing, writing, listening to music and also expressing my opinions on views or matters.

What do you feel about FATSSSA?
 I feel the faculty is okay, I can't really judge but it has been good.

What do you do outside the class?
Outside the class, most times I tried to catch up with friends and I also find time to read.

Any word for FATSSSAites?
I want to tell my friends that there is no time at all because exam is approaching so they should start preparing.

THE FATSSSA WEEK EVENTS THROUGH THE EYES OF A NERDY FATSSSAITE

However, there had been loud hiccups with the crispy picnic, so many might have been hesitant to show up at the FATSSSA Week events. In preparation for the opening day of the events, the Large Lecture Theatre had been decorated. A large purple banner bearing the name of the faculty, with beautiful splashes of white and orange, was glued to the wall. The week started with an incredible intellectual programme - ‘Dean For  A Day’ and ‘FATSSSAites who inspire us’. I was determined to attend the programme as it was a new trend and I was curious to see how it would turn out. My mouth went agape as I saw FATSSSAites rush to the event.
