FATSSSAITES ENCOURAGED TO COME GET THEIR MONEY FOR SHIRTS BACK

The past couple of weeks have seen a couple of Fatsssaites who paid for shirt last year – but were never given – going to claim their refund.

This comes after the refund was made to the Faculty account some months back by the producer of the shirt after he failed to produce the remaining number of shirts. While a considerable amount have claimed back their money, some others haven’t either due to lack of information or evidence of payment. Fatsssaites (who paid for shirts last year but weren’t given) are hereby advised to go to the Secretariat with evidence of payment to claim their money back as soon as possible.

It should be however noted that as opposed to N2000 which was paid last year, Fatsssaites would be getting a N1900 refund as the producer has claimed that Emmanuel Adeyemo paid him N1900 for each shirt, though N2000 was collected from Fatsssaites.

THE FATSSSA WEEK EVENTS THROUGH THE EYES OF A NERDY FATSSSAITE

However, there had been loud hiccups with the crispy picnic, so many might have been hesitant to show up at the FATSSSA Week events. In preparation for the opening day of the events, the Large Lecture Theatre had been decorated. A large purple banner bearing the name of the faculty, with beautiful splashes of white and orange, was glued to the wall. The week started with an incredible intellectual programme - ‘Dean For  A Day’ and ‘FATSSSAites who inspire us’. I was determined to attend the programme as it was a new trend and I was curious to see how it would turn out. My mouth went agape as I saw FATSSSAites rush to the event.
